Changes and choices
December 24, 2009New T-Shirt available
September 5, 2009Finally a GOPUSA article I agree with!
November 12, 2007I subscribed to this group many years ago when I was more aligned with Rush Limbaugh in my politics… and really have found them a bit out there… they seem to think that the whole reason Ford’s sales are down is because of their boycott (for advertising Advocate in a gay magazine) and not just because car sales are down anyway… Once I followed their source on the Gay Olympics to see if the “near porno pictures” where actually on the Gay Olympics website as they claimed… and after digging deeper into link after link, found something like they posted from Australia in a Mardi Gra parade and never did find the “near porno picture) they claimed was on the Gay Olympics website… I found that less than honest. Personally I see much these guys do is only to raise funds to keep their own “watch group” open. But again I agreed with this assessment of Robertson’s endorsement of Giuliani.
Here is part of the story.
“Pat Robertson has endorsed Rudy Giuliani for the presidency. Excuse me while I yawn.
Apparently, Pat didn’t get the memo that Rudy stands for all the things he (Robertson) has claimed to oppose with every fiber of his being for the last forty years. And apparently Rudy didn’t get the memo that Pat’s influence with the so-called “religious right” peaked about a decade ago and has been declining rapidly ever since.”
Be blessed,

Found a new blog today… The No Name Pastor
September 3, 2007I found a new blog today called The No Name Pastor… somehow this person’s writing sound familiar. Interesting posts there…
Funny thing is… and few might have caught this…
I used to (back when windows 95 was not that old) go to chat rooms to evangelise (since then they have gotten too ugly for me to go to). I used the ID iggy…
In chat room language… iggy or “to iggy” someone is to ignore them.
So in a way (though again most would not catch this) to call myself iggy is to call myself “the ignored one”…
Welcome to my blog roll “No Name”.
Blessed,
iggy

John MacArthur and Kenneth Nally
July 20, 2007BETTY ROLLIN: Kenneth Nally was 24 years old and living with his family in Southern California when he put a gun to his head and shot himself to death. Kenneth was a devout member of the Grace Community Church in suburban Los Angeles, and when he began to suffer from what turned out to be clinical depression, he sought help from one of the church counselors. Kenneth’s parents to this day blame the church for their son’s suicide. They say the counselor, who had no training in psychology and provided only Bible-based advice, seemed not to comprehend the seriousness of Kenneth’s condition.
Here is the story of John MacArthurs “absolutely no regrets.”
Here is the story of John MacArthurs “absolutely no regrets.”The only comment I will make is that this is the type of people that I run into from John MacArthur… they abuse others and “absolutely have no regrets”. It seems that John is just fine having contributed to this persons death. Though he regrets Ken Nalley shot himself. (Talk about double speak!)
It was really sick as John started the spin on this case that God’s Word was on trial… yet truly it was a case of bad judgment and careless words that caused a 24 year old boy to point a gun to his head and pull the trigger.
It was never God’s Word on trial… It was a person who claims to love Jesus, but “has absolutely no regrets” in contributing to another persons death.
Beware of false teachers.
